My sister Christina was able to come for my birthday in October. We were so excited to have our first visitor to Lexington and really enjoyed her visit. We went to the Kentucky Horse Park, did some shopping, made several stops at a yummy French cafe for pastries, and wrapped it up with a spooky night at a haunted house.
Though Christy is not convinced that she would ever suggest going to a haunted house like this one again (It was pretty scary!), we will definitely have to do the Horse Park again. Most of the horses were not out because they were resting and recovering from the World Equestrian Games which were in Lexington the week before. But we had plenty of fun together and want to send a big Thank You to Christy for a wonderful birthday and a great fun weekend!
